China's Business Aviation Market Starts Growing at an Annual Rate of 50%

   Sina Aviation - 2013 Asian Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (ABACE) were held at Shanghai Hongqiao Business Aircraft Base from April 16 to 18.This exhibition had a total of more than 180 exhibitors, 40 of them were from Asia, and the exhibited business aircraft this year were increased compared with last year, a total of 38 business jets present. The visitors mainly in the industry and potential clients and other professional audience were more than 5,000 people, and about 30 aircraft sales contract were signed. Bombardier 605 was the first to arrive at Shanghai Hongqiao Business Aircraft Base, and in addition, Airbus ACJ318, Boeing BBJ, Gulfstream G640, Dassault Falcon 2000 LXS, Embraer 1000, Beach Air King C90GTx and other business aircraft were also present, and at the same time, Deer Business Aircraft, Zhongyi Aviation, HanHua Aviation and other business aircraft operators were also sent their excellent business aircraft to make a static display, and exhibitors were not only major business jet manufacturers, operational services, including Rockwell Collins, Honewell, Eric and related business aircraft matched products supplier.
From the crowd in the exhibit area, it could reveal the increasing China business aircraft market trend, and the persons inside the industry pointed out, China has now become the world's fastest growing business aviation market, and the business aircraft at Shanghai Airports accounted for more than one-third of the country, becoming a most important portal for international business people in and out.
Liao Xuefeng, Chief Executive Officer of China Business Aviation Group, said China's business aviation market blowout development was just beginning, and since 2008, China's business aviation market started to increase at an annual rate of 50%, and by the end of 2012, there were 350 business aircraft in the greater China region.As the greater China region market fleets mainly have large business aircraft with the average price of each aircraft at about $30 million. If the world business aircraft is calculated at the average value of $10 million, the 350 aircraft are equivalent to 1100 business aircraft of the world's average value. (Zhang Yan)
